Whales are fascinating me at the moment. I was amazed by them recently on a whale watching trip in Harvey Bay, Queensland. They are such majestic creatures and their sheer scale in the flesh is incredible and unexpectedly exciting. I know what you are thinking, she must have had a hellova lens to capture that Free Willy, but no, they really were that close. So close you could hear the whoosh of the air exiting their blowholes and the moan as they called their young. Nature is very cool.
